He completed MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from Seth G S Medical College and KEM Hospital Mumbai followed by super-specialty training as DNB (GI Surgery) from Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai.
Dr. Godbole went for Colorectal Surgery Training in the UK, where he worked for 5 years. His UK experience includes fellowships in:
- ✅ Minimally Invasive Colorectal Surgery (Laparoscopic and Robotic)
- ✅ Surgery for Colorectal Cancer
- ✅ Peritoneal Cytoreductive Surgery, and HIPEC
In addition, he was also a fellow at the Basingstoke Peritoneal Malignancy Institute, which is a world-renowned center for Colorectal and peritoneal cancer surgery.
Dr. Godbole has also worked as a locum General/Colorectal surgical Consultant at University Hospitals Coventry, UK, and was also awarded the Membership of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2018. He is a member of the Association of Colo-Proctologists of Great Britain and Ireland.
